　　was born in Shenyang, Liaoning in June 1963. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Jilin University in 1984. He received master and doctor degrees in 1987 and 1990. He is currently a professor and doctoral tutor of the Department of Chemistry of Fudan University, deputy director of the Advanced Materials Laboratory, and a specially appointed professor of the "Changjiang Scholar Award Program" by the Ministry of Education. Mainly engaged in the study of mesoporous material synthesis and structure, mechanism of physical chemistry and its catalysis. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007.
