Zhengzhou Institute of Comprehensive Utilization Hosts 2024 Academic Conference on Science and Technology Innovation

In order to further strengthen the core driving role of geological science and technology innovation, stimulate the academic atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation of the institute, and make every effort to promote the implementation of key work in 2024, the Zhengzhou Institute of Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources of the China Geological Survey held the 2024 scientific and technological innovation academic exchange meeting, and 14 outstanding scientific and technological personnel reported on their research results, latest progress and next work arrangements.

The conference focused on the four major technical systems of high-value utilization of non-metallic minerals, efficient utilization of metallic minerals, green utilization of solid waste resources and analysis and testing, highlighted basic, theoretical and innovative research and development, and carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the comprehensive utilization of strategic mineral resources, molecular sieve adsorption materials, magnetic nanomaterials, magnetic sieves and dynamic magnetic levitation technology and equipment, multi-element recycling of waste electronic products, and water and soil pollution remediation. The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to innovate the talent management mechanism, optimize the training of scientific and technological innovation talents, create a good environment for talents to grow and become talents, and further improve the level of scientific and technological innovation of the institute.
