Strengthen the safety defense line and consolidate the foundation of fire safety — Jiangsu Fulong New Materials Co., Ltd. conducts "Safety Production Month" fire safety drills

In order to implement the requirements of the national "Safe Production Month" and strengthen the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees, Jiangsu Fulong New Materials Co., Ltd. organized a fire safety drill on the afternoon of June 3, 2026, according to the arrangements of its superiors. The drill involved employees from various departments, including the production department, laboratory, and sales department. The drill was coordinated by the company's safety officer, Zhang Wei.

Before the drill, safety officer Zhang Wei conducted on-site fire safety education and training based on the company's actual production situation. As temperatures rise, for key fire protection scenarios such as the company's production kilns, high-voltage electricity, and laboratories, three key tasks are required: First, routine fire inspections; Second, prepare fire emergency plans; Third, regular practical training on fire protection equipment. Participants also asked each other questions about potential hazards in their daily work, solidifying their theoretical foundation.

During the practical drill, open flames were set up on site to simulate ignition points. Zhang Wei guided the trainees to first familiarize themselves with the equipment structure, explaining in detail the steps from bottle pressure checks and valve disassembly to standard use—lifting, pulling, gripping, and pressing. Next, Zhang Wei demonstrated the correct way to use a fire extinguisher: holding the dry powder extinguisher to pull the safety pin, aiming at the base of the fire source and pressing and spraying, and the dry powder extinguishing agent precisely presses the fire inside the barrel to complete the open flame extinguishing operation. Finally, all employees took turns using fire extinguishers to practice extinguishing fires and master techniques for extinguishing initial fires.

This "Safety Production Month" fire drill improved the fire safety literacy and emergency response skills of employees in all company positions, eliminated the safety shortcomings of "understanding but not knowing how to use," and improved the enterprise's fire prevention and self-rescue emergency system. Next, Jiangsu Fulong New Materials Co., Ltd. will take "Safety Production Month" as an opportunity to regularly carry out safety education, hazard inspections, emergency drills, and other related tasks, integrating safety production concepts into all aspects of production and operation, and safeguarding the enterprise's safe development with solid measures.
